Nubandine Return and Refund Policy
Effective Date: February 24, 2026
This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from Nubandine, a brand owned and operated by VILPA GOODS & SERVICES INC., Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. All Nubandine products are handmade in Ecuador using Top Grain and Full grain leather and imported, distributed, and sold in Canada by VILPA GOODS & SERVICES INC.
By placing an order with Nubandine, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Nature of Handmade Genuine Leather Products
All Nubandine products are handmade using leather. Top Grain and Full Grain leather is a natural material and may display unique variations in grain, texture, tone, wrinkles, and markings. These characteristics are inherent to authentic leather and are not considered defects.
Over time, genuine leather naturally develops changes in appearance due to normal use and aging. These changes enhance the authenticity and character of the product and do not qualify as manufacturing defects.
2. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds
Nubandine accepts returns and refunds exclusively for products with verified manufacturing defects.
A manufacturing defect refers to a structural or workmanship fault present at the time of delivery that affects the intended functionality or structural integrity of the product.
To be eligible:
• The defect must be reported within 7 days of confirmed delivery
• The item must not show signs of misuse, improper handling, or abnormal wear
• Proof of purchase must be provided
• The defect must be verified and approved by Nubandine
Returns will not be accepted for:
• Natural leather variations, including wrinkles, grain differences, or markings
• Normal wear and tear resulting from use
• Changes in leather due to natural aging
• Cosmetic characteristics inherent to handmade products
• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper storage, or improper care
All returns are subject to inspection and approval.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
• Final sale or clearance items
• Gift cards and store credits
• Products damaged due to misuse, improper care, or normal wear and tear
• Products returned without authorization
4. Return Authorization Process
To initiate a return request, customers must contact Nubandine within 7 days of delivery.
Return requests must include:
• Customer full name
• Order number
• Description of the defect
• Photographic evidence clearly showing the defect
Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.
Customers must not return products without written authorization from Nubandine.
5. Return Shipping Costs
If Nubandine confirms a manufacturing defect, Nubandine will cover the reasonable return shipping costs.
If no manufacturing defect is confirmed, the return may be rejected and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Nubandine is not responsible for items lost or damaged during unauthorized return shipments.
6. Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected, Nubandine will determine eligibility for a refund.
If approved:
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
• Shipping fees may be refunded only if the defect is confirmed
• Refund processing may take up to 14 business days, excluding financial institution processing times
If the returned product does not meet the requirements, the refund may be denied.
7. Exchanges
Nubandine does not offer direct exchanges. If a defect is confirmed, Nubandine may, at its sole discretion:
• Provide a replacement product, or
• Provide a full refund
8. Defective or Incorrect Items
Customers must report defective or incorrect items within 7 days of delivery.
If the defect is confirmed, Nubandine will provide a refund or replacement at no additional cost to the customer.
9. Fraud Prevention and Abuse
To protect customers and the business, Nubandine reserves the right to:
• Verify purchase and payment information
• Request supporting documentation
• Refuse returns that show signs of abuse, fraud, or policy violations
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy and all purchases from Nubandine shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from purchases or this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
